Does anyone know of a good Debt Consolidation Company that works with people with bad credit?
I have a good amount of debt from College, and an ex that dumped a bunch of bills on me. I have a great paying job now, but got suckered into a debt settlement company that basically ruined my credit and stole my money and did nothing to help with my debt but just ruined it. I am looking for a debt consolidation service that I can use to pay off my debt. I have a great paying job and have been good with paying off other bills/car/cards in the past, I have just fallen behind on a couple of things and really need it sorted out.

not really. i heard most debt consolidation companies rip people off anyway. i heard they take a nice size portion of your money and pay themselves and then distribute less than minimum payments to your creditors.
You’ve been burned once and want to try again? Most credit repair/debt consolidation companies take you money and trash your credit.
If you are having trouble dealing with this yourself, find a NFCC credit counseling service in your area. http://www.nfcc.org/ They will help you set up a budget and advise you on how to deal with your debt.

http://www.nfcc.org/ This is a list of nationally accredited non profit debt consolidates. They have a list that will break it down by state even to city. Any other service will destroy your credit rating even more so than it is now. People always say my credit is so bad it can’t get worse. Trust me it can and will if you use any debt consolidation agency other than the ones on the website provided.
